    Dell 3007WFP and PA-4151-1-LF Help!!

I got this monitor for free a couple years ago. As you can see in the pictures there is some damage and I need to replace one of the yellow components. I have been trying to identify them, and I believe they are transformers, but I'm not sure. You can clearly read all of the numbers, but I have searched for them all over the internet, and I can not find anything about these components.

Just incase you can't read the component it says...

    42-M41511P03 ROHS HP OK
    LITEON TB-130(2) 1013 MC REV +A

Can someone help with what they are and how to cross reference them so I can get the right one?

Apart from Inverter transformers, any other ones in Monitors and Televisions(apart from LOPT's) very rarely fail, and a far as I can remember,I have never had to replace one. That I suspect is the reason you cannot find one on the Internet. As yours is physically damaged by the looks of it,and therefore must be changed,I think your only options are to buy a replacement Board,or another same model faulty Monitor, with maybe a broken screen, and combine the two to make one good one.

That is PFC Inductor, are you sure that the burnt mark is not due to that POWER MOSFET Q170 mounted on the heatsink?
It looks like the MOSFET is blown up.

I agree with budm. Those housings usually break on their sides where they border with the metal backplate. The way this looks it should have been audible and smelly at the time of failure.

You may want to unsolder that FET and get a new one. However there is a chance something else on the board has caused the FET to fail. So if you don't want to investigate further and just exchange that FET, get yourself 2 or 3 of those as replacements. Otherwise you will pay twice the shipping when you blow up the replacement cause there is more faulty components on the board.

If that PFC MOSFET is blown, then more likely the PFC IC Controller will also need to be replaced unless you want to take a chance on blowing your new MOSFET.
BTW, what is the condition of the main filter cap and the rest of the caps on the board?

I don't see any other damage on the board. The PFC Inductor is definitely bad, there are 2 legs that were broken off when the owner tried to fix it himself. Normally I would just buy another board, but I can't find one. Is there any way to know which PFC Inductor will work as a replacement? I have never had to replace one of these and don't know anything about them.

Well, you can see the left side of the MOSFET has burnt mark and the mounting screw is rusted. Did you check the resistance between the Source and the Drain pin?
You have to get the spec of that inductor. The pins that are broken off may not be connected to any winding, PFC Inductor usually uses only 2 pins for connections.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
                by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...
