S24A450BW Samsung Monitor does not work ...

S24A450BW Samsung Monitor does not work, the LED does not light, no picture, I noticed that they tried to repair. was burned 9997GH, I changed it, its blue LED lit for a second, then no light and change it again 9997GH, but nothing happened.

- where to find service manual ?
- may be the problem of re-programmed FLASH MEMORY 25X40BVSIG ?

Have you got the correct power supply for it 14v is an odd one?

I have one original 14v 1.7a, and universal 14v 2a, does not work with any of them.

Is the white fuse ok? What voltage on each side with respect to ground.
What voltage on the 2 coils (with 100 and 220 on) and what voltage on the 3 caps in PIc2

What is with the red wire - some sort of repair?

is just an improvisation, but the board has power, tomorrow make measurements and write on picture all voltages.

Sort of guessed that but wonder why? Looks like it is connected to the third pin
on that socket which can only be a few millimeters from where they have soldered the wire to the top of the board.

Ok voltage on the top left socket - is that the connector for the led back light?

In the pink box there should be a ferrite bead - is it still in place?

Can you list some of the part number for the larger ICs - numbered them on pic

Hy ,in the pink box is a ferrite bead, is in place.

i will edit photo tomorrow with ICs number or model .

but i`m sure that 0.20v at one cap in the corner is not good

I would agree similarly a cap rated at 50v with 7v falling is not good and if the
8 legged ics are mosfets a different voltage on each pin is a worry?

If you get stuck I think have a board from an S24B350 Syncmaster which might fit? Came out of my monitor that I sadly knocked over and cracked the screen on.
