Hello everyone. My monitor started acting up at maximum brightness last week. When I turn it down to 20% or less, it can stay on with no issues.
I opened it up and tried flipping the jumper from 7.5 to 8A, but it made no difference. Even though the caps looked fine, I replaced all but the largest with good capacitors. I turned it on, and it did the same thing. When it's cold, I can get a picture for up to a minute. During that minute there is occasional flickering before it's black. After that, it's 2-3 seconds and it's black. I also should note that I tried hooking up a spare CFL in place of each of the four. It did the same thing leading me to suspect the inverter, but at this point I'm out of ideas.
I'd very much appreciate any suggestions.
