Getting the 2 seconds to black error. Screen is still on and visible with a flashlight. I have dissembled the monitor and checked for bad caps etc. I have another monitor of the exact same make and I did some experiments first swapping the video board and power board separately to see if I could narrow down the issue. I have come to the conclusion that no bad caps or boards are present. Same issue with the known working components vs the orginal. If I switch the entire screen assembly, the monitor works fine so I am assuming that it is a ccfl issue. Any recommendations where to get the correct parts? Would prefer a modular replacement, as I didn't see how to actually remove the ccfls. Model number on the unit is Samsung LTM230HT01 G03 7w9e12a920

Re: Issue with HP W2338H Monitor
It works with the power board and the video board on your other monitor? If so, it must be the screen. It couldbe that one of the tubes is faulty and causes the power supply to turn off the inverters.
Does the screen appear to work fine in those 2 seconds that it works?
