Help me wire this universal CFL inverter

I posted previously about this, but I think I didn't state clearly what I wanted to do.

So, I bought this universal inverter and I would like to wire this, it has 4pins: VIN, ON, ADJ, GND.

I soldered GND to the metal plate in the laptop. ON to some 3.4V wire in the camera. Didn't wire anything to ADJ yet. Couldn't find any 12V in the laptop, so I temporarily wired VIN to a 12V adaptor I found.

So the CCFL didn't light up, but it does with an inverter/ccfl tester.

Got it on by joining VIN and ON together, but I can't find any 12v in laptop to solder on...

This unit will work with 9Volt up to 20Volt so 12 is not needed if you can find a 9V supply

It took me 2 days, but I found out it uses 5v -_-, thank you anyways.
