need help picking right cap to get

Hi, I have an Acer al2216w monitor with a delta dac-19m009 rev:02a power supply board in it. the board has 3 obviously bad caps with bulging tops. I am planning to replace those plus some of the other caps that don't look bad but might be suspect, making 8 total to replace. I'm going to leave the big 400v and the small one next to it alone as they don't look bad and are covered in solid white goo of some kind.

I have some experience in replacing caps but I am not very familiar with the specific details beyond the uf and voltage rating. I was trying to find replacements to order off digikey but am confused about which ones to get because they have different amp ratings listed.

so, if i get a 2200uf 10v cap; how can i know which will work properly. Can i get one regardless of the amperage listed or do i need a specific one?

To make life easy, just order Panasonic FR or FM. If neither are available, then choose Panasonic FC.

The quick way to do it in digikey is to type this into the search engine

    1000uF 16v fr

Make sure the diameter and height fits.

      Picking caps for Antec SU-380
      by ajdrenter
In my search for a proper 5v heavy ATX power supply, I selected an old Antec SU-380 that I've had in storage for a long time. Opening the power supply reveals a couple bulged capacitors. I removed all the caps and made a map for myself. I found the datasheet for the PCE TUR series in this thread:
      https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14159
It says these are general purpose, so I assume I can replace them with any general purpose capacitors, but I don't really know anything about power supply circuits or reading capacitor datasheets. Despite this, I've been shopping for replacements:...

      Need help picking 12v timer!!
      by Storyteller12
I need a 12v timer that cuts on when 12v applied (when door is opened) and cuts off after 2 minutes even if he door stays open with the 12v trigger. And resets when door is closed.

The ones I see tend to start the timer when powered down. (Momentary switch)

      Thanks in advance

      UN55FH6200 Panel Replacement - A Christmas Miracle
      by neilc6
I had picked up a UN55FH6200 which the owner said was rebooting randomly and I assumed it was an issue with the WIDT20R wifi module. This module has known problems in the E model years. When I looked at it, it had been previously repaired and the main board was replaced with one from a UN40EH series and the wifi module on that one uses a different connector.
It was already disconnected because of the incompatibility. The main was only secured with 2 screws so I improved the grounding using all the screw holes. Though improved, it still suffered from random reboots. Test was to leave the...
