    Samsung SyncMaster 2280HD Display problem

    Hi everyone,

    I am trying to figure out what's wrong with my SyncMaster 2280HD TV monitor.

    It was working fine till yesterday, suddenly the monitor has no display nor a test screen. When I switch off the power to the monitor and turn it back on, there is a display for a fraction of a second then it goes all black.

    Earlier yesterday there was a very faint display but that too seems to have vanished now. I pulled apart the monitor to look for bad caps. So far, I'm not seeing any burst caps. I have attached some pictures, I would greatly appreciate if someone can help troubleshoot the problem.

                  I have an intermittent display problem with my monitor, when I plug in the HDMI cable to my (or any) laptop, you see the connection screen shrink on the laptop as it usually would before displaying on the monitor but 95% of the time the monitor display stays black.

                  Before it cut out all together, tapping the monitor control button a fair few times would make the screen display, and everything work fine.

                  But now it never does it. Not sure what's going on, hoping someone can help. I'm capable of stripping the thing down and soldering in new parts if needed, or programming...

                  Came across a 75" QLED TV with restart-backlight no boot and it was headed to the dumpster. Asked the owner to let me have a crack at it. They said the TV went out during or soon after a thunderstorm. I noted this but didnt out too much stock into it as it could have been anything.

                  VERY big TV and i was worried about the display cracking during the moved as well as the repair but it was alright as i try very hard to handle with care.

                  In the video (zip file) you can see' as the TV tries to start up, tbere are a lot of gaps in the backlight so I immediately suspect...

                  Hi All,

                  Need help.

                  I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

                  So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
                  problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
                  might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

                  Hello guys! I need a little help, I have one laptop for repair, it is an Aorus 17G YD, gaming laptop.
