I had the problem of my Sony SDM HS75P switching oiff & on,then blinking every minutes,& then totally stopped working.No response of power button.

I opened & checked the power supply - it was ok 4.95V & 12.17 V.
On further inspection I found U202 defective,which is located just above the crystal,
on the display driver module,right side of graphic processor.

Removed the part & installed 470 ohms resistor & 3V zener in series across gnd & 5V.
the junction of resistor & Zener diode 3V connected to the output. Now it is working fine.The pictures are attached.Any clarification,please write here.

Hope this will help you in rectifying the problems of those owners of Sony SDM HS75P.
