Take the reading on the fat tab then. The tab and that cut pin are the same.
Chip quik (also available at digikey) does an excellent job, I'm told, for removing stuff. See this video

but it's not cheap and it adds to the cost of repair. At some point, it will be cheaper to buy a replacement vs repair.
A 35W will might suffice if you have a chisel tip.
