Samsung 2232bw 2 seconds to black

I recently recapped a samsung 2232bw, all the larger caps were bulging and so I replaced them and the smaller 47uf 50v etc. This samsung like others had the 3 820uf 25v in a series, not having the 820uf's I used 2 1000uf and 1 470uf 25v. The 2 capacitors on the inverter were also 820uf 25v, I used 1000uf 25v instead.

The monitor worked great for an entire day with no issues. Today I go to turn it on and I get the 2 seconds to black, the pled stays on but dims when the screen turns black.

I dont think the transformer is bad, but I dont have a multimeter to test anything. It seems the one I ordered was stolen off my step, and I am in the middle of amazons a to z claim deal.

The large filter cap is a JH branded 100uf 450v, I was wondering if this one could be responsible? I know they rarely fail, I have an esr meter and it tests at .36 I personally think this is high.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Please clarify one point.

Does the power led return to normal brightness or does it stay dim after the screen goes black?

The pled dims when it goes black, when the monitor comes back on and shows the screen for 2 seconds it is bright again. It dims then brightens and repeats.

Ok, I found an analog multimeter, very basic does dc and ac to 1000v. I resoldered the filter cap and tested, it got a steady 300v with just the power plugged in and not connected to the logic board. I tested the power pins for the 13v and 5v, all I got was 13v across both 13v and 5v pins.

Whats wierd is I tried turning it on and.... it came on. How long it will last I dont know, Im letting it sit here to see if anything happens. I will turn it on and off throughout the day, and see if I can get the problem to come back.

Edit: The backlights shutoff, and the pled stays on steady now. I am wondering if the 1000uf 25v I put on the inverters are causing the issue? Maybe I should order some actual 820uf 25v to see if the issue goes away?

I turn the monitor off and let it sit for 5 minutes and it will turn back on, but you can watch as the backlights get dimmer, then slowly shut off, until nothing.
