If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Found one even cheaper. It is $2.85 + free shipping. The one that you found has a shipping cost of $2.00 USD.

I guess it depends how many you want to order for spares/extras.

        Uh. I'd say 1,88<2,85?

          I see the problem now.

Since I'm using ebay.com, it sets my default country to USA. Shipping to USA is $2.00 for some reason. Shipping to Canada and Czech Republic is free.

I guess the seller wants a few more $$$ from the Americans.

BTW, now that I know the part number, here is the "correct" link for lcdparts.net

            http://lcdparts.net/TransformerDetai...ProductID=3712

It suggests 1.21K is the correct resistance.

lcdparts.net wants $21.99 + shipping. Other than one regular who buys from there, I can't see how they stay in business when there price is 10x more than the Internet price.

IMHO, at $21.99 + shipping, it is uneconomical to fix a 19 inch monitor especially since the ccfls might die soon if it has seen prolonged use.

For $1.88, it makes sense to try and fix the monitor.

I have recommended buying transformers off ebay from random sellers and I haven't heard a negative repair story yet of the replacement failing.

Only lcdparts.net knows, but where do they get their parts from?

Samsung UN40H5003 boot loop every ~8 seconds
                  by eigma
Hi, I rescued a Samsung UN40H5003AF (H = 2014 FHD) from the curb. Symptoms are: standby (red) light comes on, stays on for 8 seconds, flickers off, then comes back on, and the cycle continues.

                  Service manual: https://www.electronica-pt.com/esque...is-u8la-71272/

SMPS board: checked voltages, all seem normal (A13V = 12.8V, UD = 3.3V, PWM_BLU = 0.77V, PS_OnOff = 5.5V). Remove 10p cable to main board -> backlight comes on. I think this means SMPS board and backlight are good.

                  Main board: BN94-07592P / BN97-08922R...
