Hello hello! Ok here is what's going on...
I have a Samsung Syncmaster 225bw. Two of the caps on the power supply board went bad ( 820uf 25v ) so I jumped on Digi Key and ordered two new ones ( part # elxy250ell821mk20s ). I just got done soldering them in and got the monitor up and running... Turn the computer on and the thing is working fine!!! Then I get a ASUS express gate ( my motherboard ) load message.
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "next".
3. Click "repair your computer".
Status: 0xc000000f
Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.
Ok thats a strange message and all but I'm wondering if my cap install on my monitor has ANYTHING to do with this? Or is a total freek thing that happened while my monitor was broken?
And yes the computer was working fine before all this went down...
Windows 7 64 bit. ASUS p5qem motherboard. 3 gig dual core processor. 8 gigs DDR 2 ram. GeForce GTX 260 superclocked 896 mb ddr3 video card.
Thanks!
