This is an LG curved Ultrawide 4k monitor. Mainboard EAX69063601 (1.6). Customer brought it in complaining of no output and i figured it was likely a damaged output HDMI/display port. But no menu displays either but the monitor does have some chimes and tones when navigating menus and those are coming through ok and it looks like the backlight is on but no display with checking with flashlight. Everything is on one main board, powered by a 19.5v 10.8A adapter. Power in is good. No panel damage that I have been able to identify at all. Kind of lost on where to start here. No visible hints on the board and I have been unable to find any resources such as a service manual or schematic. Unable to find a replcement main board in stock for customer. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Hello Powerup! I am having this exact same issue with the same model of monitor and mainboard. I even purchased a second that had a busted display panel so I could source boards in the hope that I could just put known-good boards in. However, the behavior did not change.
Did you resolve this issue for your customer? If so, how did you do accomplish it?

Problem
This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached.... -
