A customer brought this in. I normally do a laptop/Macbook/iPhone logic board repairs but thought I'd give this a go.
There seems to be power going into all three circuit boards but nothing happening when you press keys. There was a 6.4mhz crystal floating around inside so I'm assuming it came from one of the three main boards, I'm guessing the green board but I cannot for the life of me see anything that looks like it should have this component soldered on to it.
I have bought replacements. Can anyone give advice on where I should be looking to at least narrow down my search?
