I was wondering if you could help me with the below issues Im having on a Sansui Integrated amplifier. I bought this unit as a project to repair as Im playing around with basic electromics.The unit has a faulty volume control pot. The service maual refers to a 150K Logarithmic pot (A) tapered stereo. Im struggling to find this value. Seem to be a jump from 100K to 250K. Im now trying a 250K pot. It works but the problem is that as the volume is turned up from starting at Min the Left channel will come on first just slightly before the Right...Today, 02:54 PM -
I have a sansui that just started having a dim picture, adjusting backlight settings up or down have no effect on display. I went ahead and ordered some backlight strips for it but find it weird that changing the setting has no effect. Could it be power related. Where should I start? Thanks Michael ... -

I have a 32 inch Sansui android TV that stopped booting. i checked the motherboard for any power failures but it seemed OK to the best of my knowledge. The TV does not have a dedicated power supply board so i could not do any isolation but here is a list of all the things i think were relevant to test.
if i missed anything you let me know;
DDR (1.5V) = 1.484V
VDDC = 1.000V
VDDC_CPU = 1.151V
VDD1V2_DM = 0.000V
3V3_STB = 3.315V

A colleague gave me this Sansui receiver. He mentioned it was still playing until recently (couple weeks ago) lost its power and he thinks it blew the fuse. I brought is home opened up and sure enough the 10A fuse is blown. I found a spare one at home put it in and instantly blew that one too. I'm hoping some experienced users here would direct me in the right direction to bring this nice piece of art back to life.
