Creative Inspire 5700 Digital datasheet

Hello everyone,

can somebody help me to find schematics for the Creative Inspire 5700 Digital decoder?

I was replacing the opamps but now it doesn't even power up and the protection fuse is fine.

I know it was dumb of me to do that, and believe me, I regret it so much now...

I thought it was the power mosfet right after the fuse but it's all the same after the replacement.

99.98% sure there are no schematics available for that, anywhere.

Thanks, I just figured where the problem was. One of the opamps died and I guess it doesn't power without them. Finished assembling it and it's working now!! Damn I feel happy!!

Hi ameixoeiro.
I just registered here after seeing your post.
My 5700 system died and after looking everywhere on the web you are the first one that tried and managed to fix it!
I found other people with the same problem that I have, but nobody tried to fix and my knowledge in electronic is... ehmmm... veeeery poor.

The system was working perfectly, so I decided to use in in my new small cinema room. I routed all wires into walls, bought wall stands for the speakers... I really made a good and clean job.
After just 1 movie... it died.
When I switch the decoder on, al leds light up together, and nothing works.
I tried with a different power supply, same.

Can you suggest what I can check? I really love it, but I really can't find anything useful on the web.

If you don't have one, get (or at least borrow) a multimeter, then we can talk

I have that
I know very little, but I can use a multimeter and I can solder.

I modified many xbox360 and Wii in the past and I fixed many things, but only following guides.

Hi Khron.
I'm not in hurry, I found a second hand z-5500 so my cinema room is working again, but i really would like to try to fix my 5700.
So if you can give me some help by telling me what I can test, we can start.
