I'm not in hurry, I found a second hand z-5500 so my cinema room is working again, but i really would like to try to fix my 5700.
So if you can give me some help by telling me what I can test, we can start.

I know very little, but I can use a multimeter and I can solder.

I modified many xbox360 and Wii in the past and I fixed many things, but only following guides.

Hi ameixoeiro.
I just registered here after seeing your post.
My 5700 system died and after looking everywhere on the web you are the first one that tried and managed to fix it!
I found other people with the same problem that I have, but nobody tried to fix and my knowledge in electronic is... ehmmm... veeeery poor.

The system was working perfectly, so I decided to use in in my new small cinema room. I routed all wires into walls, bought wall stands for the speakers... I really made a good and clean...
