Thanks, I just figured where the problem was. One of the opamps died and I guess it doesn't power without them. Finished assembling it and it's working now!! Damn I feel happy!!
i'm having the same problem with two cq61 motherboards. Both just turns on white charger led but none powers on. Tried lots of cq61 bios. And even bios chip have same voltages on same pins. Power Button is having 3.3v but doesn't change when pressed.
I have 2 Nvidia GTX 275, one is from Asus, and the other is from XFX. And the one from XFX got damaged. Started to give no image, but the computer powers on. And to help with my situation, I managed to rip on smd off.this one is and inductor labeled R68. Can someone please help me to find another inductor to replace that one even if it is another with different value?
Apart that, I really need to repair this card.
I also noticed some tantalum 330uf capacitors looking bulged, but I measured them with my DMM and they seem ok.
I've recently bought an ATI's ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics card in a non functioning condition.
I powered it on and my computer also powers on, but no display. The guy who sold it to me told me it worked but only if no drivers were installed. But with me no image was even there.
Upon many times looking for faulty components I noticed some smd ones were missing right above the pcix connector
If I plug my diagnostics card and I can see from the codes, it tries to boot and resets about 5 or 6 times until it starts, but no image, of course....
Hi guys, I'm really curious to know if you managed to figured the fault out. I have a GTX 275, which is very similar to yours in PCB design, and mine has a different symptom. But anyways, I hope you repair yours!!
