    rafik,

Sorry, I never got any schematics for the unit. You will have to try to sleuth out the problem yourself. What are the failure symptoms?

      Re: Nady 101 VHF

Hi Rick, I am really sorry to post just now after too much time. I did not reviewed the forum all this time.
So, until now I did not still repaired my nady 101. I checked today again and I noticed that there is not supply voltage for all ICs with the exception of the CD4013. I followed the traces and noticed transistor 9012 is not giving voltage.
I was traying replacing it but there are some Transistors with different letters at the rigth. Please could you advice me which is the correct transistor?
I think if I replace it the device will work.
Thanks in advance for your reply. Again sorry for respond just now.
      Greetings

      Rafik

        rafik,

I rarely check this forum, but when I did, I was unable to locate the unit until now. Do you still need help with the unit? Have you gotten anywhere with it?

Talk about sorry for the late response!

        Rick

Hi does anyone by any chance have a schematic for the Nady 101 Microphone??? I have a couple of wires on mine that are un attached with no obvious clues to tell where they are meant to go! Don't want to fry it by guessing! TIA samspud!

            Sony MDR-IF245R transmitter LED replacement
            by lti
I'm looking at the transmitter from these wireless headphones because the range is too short. One of the LEDs failed many years ago (nine years ago - I found pictures that I took then) and was simply bypassed to make them work again, but it seems like the range has been degrading since then. They're near-IR LEDs (I can see them dimly lit red, so they aren't the standard 940nm), and I haven't been able to find the actual wavelength. Does anyone here happen to know what replacement LEDs I should use? Maybe I can adjust the transmitter was well while I'm in there, or there's another fault. I should...

Quark FALCON 1000 KW FM Transmitter - Alarm LED illuminated
            by dicky96
            Hi Guys

Here is an unusual one (for me anyway)

            It s Quark 1KW FM radio exciter/transmitter

I think it is the Falcon 1000 but there is actually no model number on it, I just went by the pictures on http://www.quarkelectronics.it and the fact the radio station who own it, tell me it is 1KW

The Alarm LED is illuminating, apparently. I haven't powered it up on the bench and I don't know if I can as I don't have a load to connect to the RF output.

Originally they brought me just the green PCB with the four buck regulators (see...

            Buying custom crystals...
            by eccerr0r
Dangit. I keep on running into the same problem...

Seems for radio use, crystals seems to be a problem. To get a specific frequency out of a radio, I need a specific crystal based on how the circuit is designed.

Well, I thought I was being smart and tried to design a synthesizer to get around needing these weirdly cut crystals, but I keep coming back to needing weird frequency crystals to simplify the design.

It seems like in the past, getting custom cut crystals is easier or something? Or perhaps it's typical to go to a crystal company to get specific...

Toshiba T3100/20 Bought at the flea market - kinda working....
            by dicky96
            Hi guys
I picked up a couple of interesting items last weekend at the car boot sale / flea market

One was already working apart from cleaning out the RAM and PCI slots (Asrock P4-66G Skt 478 mobo, 3GHz CPU, Geforce 2MX 400 and Sounblaster Live)

The other is this interesting laptop - I paid €25 euros for it - and it weighs a ton!

            So it's a Toshiba T3100/20 which from a quick google is a 80286 CPU, 20Mb HDD, 640K Ram, and it's from around 1985

The guy said it was 'funcionando', which I took with a pinch of salt, but yes basically it...
