    Denon AVR-X2000 no sound

    Good day all

My first post on the forum, tried to find a introduction page, but couldnt. So thank you for having me here.

After spending most of the past 2 days Googling and watching Youtube videos, I came across the forum, in the hopes that I could get some assistance with the above mentioned amplifier. As I do most days, I switched the unit on yesterday morning, got the relay clicks as per normal, but no sound from any of the speakers. Tried "Audio Direct' and the same issues there. In a panic state, I did a factory reset, without any luck. Then disconnected all speakers, performed another reset and still no sound. What I did notice is, that the menu system seems a bit sluggish when it comes to responsiveness.Im fairly competent with a MM and can read a schematic....(he said smiling) After watching a video done in Tamul on Youtube, I managed to get to test some of the regulators shown in the video. And no...I dont understand a word of Tamul. I would, by the mercy of the pro's onsite here, be greatfull if someone would be willing to take the time to guide me through a diagnosing process.
    Thanx in advance to all

Denon AVR-X3600H No sound even to pre outs in direct analog mode. Help please!
    by FuzzyOwl
Hi, I have a Denon AVR-X3600H I'm trying to repair. I have no electronics repair experience but I have a multimeter, service manual and a will to fix it (https://device.report/m/d5de8c00e617...f63147aba9.pdf)

Everything seems to work except for no sound even through the pre outs. However I will get sound using Zone 2 pre outs.

Only digital symptom I can tell is it will soft lock when in the Speakers/Test Tone menu and be unable to adjust +/- db during the test tone.

I've followed the trouble shooting guide, audio check...

    Denon AVR 1912 no sound
    by dansity
    Hello,
As a foreword I'm relatively novice with component level audio gear repair. My amplifier stopped producing sound and I currently have no funds to buy a new one so I need any help to repair it. I know "no sound" is one of the most common problem but there were other symptoms so some of you seasoned repairman might able to pinpoint the stuff I have to check. I did download the service manual from manualslib the "no sound checklist" is a bit intimidating.

So i bought it working. First symptom: speaker protection relays on the audio board were clicking...

Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB (Chassis SR) TV Repair Help - Distorted Subwoofer Sound and overall weird sound waveforms
    by LEECH666
    Good day ladies and gentleman!

I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.

This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).

I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but...

Marian Trace Alpha sound card repair help
    by Christos Tsiligiannis
    Hello to the forum.

My name is Christos, I am new to the forum here and i am posting from Greece.

So i have this old German sound card from Marian, called Trace Alpha. To be exact i have 2 of them and i use them professionally for my small FM radio station here. The first one works like a charm, but the second one does not work at all.

To be more specific in the same exact pc with windows 7 (i even tried 32bit) the one works while the other doesn't.

So i tried asking for a schematic from the company and they would not give me one. Instead they...
