I would go after easy low fruit first and resolder everything that has a heatsink on it (like anything on a heatsink).
Try messing around with different input and output settings to see if there is some setting where the channel actually does work?

There is no DC on the output, because the amp should be in protect mode then.

Av receiver is fixed ! found that the front left channel joint was completely cracked , full disassembly of the back all the audio board side and visual inspection made it ! thanks for the help I'll keep the SM , and if there any real good tilps on saving the DTS IC , i was thinking about installing a fan to keep it cool , maybe combine it wit a heatsink , but if someone have tryed something and has no problem wit it for many yeara working that way , let me know please ( except glueing a heatsink to the IC )

I think that keeping the equalizer on the low side ( -3db ish ) and not cranking it past 75-80% for long run could be a good idea but im no expert in this , and either about those IC knowledge Click image for larger version

Yamaha XP7000 Crackling in left channel
              by xfreakx
              Hi guys,

I have a problem with the power amplifier Yamaha XP700, I hope someone can help or point me in a direction.

The amp started occasionally to crackle in the left channel which in a short time period got more frequent and after a while the crackling occurred instantly on power on.
While checking for loose connections the amp's protection kicked in and turned the amp off. From then the protection turned the amp off in between 1 - 5 seconds after power on.

I switched the mono blocks for a test to make sure the error is in the block itself...

HH Scott Model A510 Stereo Integrated Amplifier/ Graphic EQ - Blowing fuses in the LEFT speaker channel only. Any Help???
              by Sik_6ty_Sixx
So like the title says, I have an old Stereo Receiver/Amplifier that I picked up from the goodwill, it's a HH Scott Model A510. When I first got it home it had zero output. Opened it up, notice the fuses are missing. Pop in 2 new fuses (AGC4A 250V) and try again, within 5 seconds the L channel fuse POP! I don't see any visible indications of damage or arc burns on the PCB, no popped resistors or diodes, no burnt traces or blown out caps. So I decide to just try another new fuse, POP. Swapped around my R and L speaker wires, and checked the integrity of all wires and connections. Everything looks...

Denon AVR 1908, High pitch noise on Surround back Left channel after long overhaul
              by karatzdi
              Hello,

I know some might say... just buy another one. Sell it as parts..!

So had this AMP for quite some time. Recently I saw light smoke coming out of the AMP. Had my fire extinguisher close by. Just kidding. Turned immediately all devices off from mains.
Let things cool a bit, and opened up the amp device. I clearly saw on the main board which hosts the 5X amp (5.1), 3 10 ohms 1W resistors had their leads looking black, while the rest of the remaining 2 x 10 ohms were brownish as being installed from factory.

Spent some time downloading the Service...

Yamaha Stagepas 300 PA system repair
              by DAVEMAC02
I have a Yamaha Stagepas 300 PA system with the left channel out. There are separate power inputs to each Power Amplifier. I repaired the left channel amplifier so both work. However, I still have no left channel output to speaker. Both speakers are good. I have a multimeter and an old Radio Shack signal tracer for troubleshooting and that's it. I checked all voltage inputs to both amps and they match. Don't know how to proceed to check or trace signals or voltages at amp outputs BEFORE they go to speakers. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dave

Marantz pm 6005 right channel not worknig
              by sima112
              Hi guys,
I need a help with my Marantz pm6005. It started to have weaker the right channel a few months ago, than it got back to normal and now it has lost sound completely on the right channel. At the final stage it was loosing the channel for a while and than it returned. After it has disappeared completely I could forced it back by unplugging the source form CD (which I normally use) to phone and back. It would then work for a few minutes and died again. Now it is possible power up and all function works normally (apart the right channel ) on all inputs, except the phone both channel...
