Klipsch Sub 10 BASH amp blowing fuses

Hi all, I have a Klipsch Sub 10 that was given to me that would not power on. I checked the fuse and sure enough it was blown so, I replaced it and blew another without any input even hooked in to it.

So far searching around reveals most of these seem to have this problem, and the main solution has been to return the amp to klipsch to be fixed, or pay to replace (now over $120). That's not good enough for me

I found two threads that one pointed to one set of components, another thread pointed to another. Since I had sutable replacements around already I replaced the majority of mosfets on it with no luck. The next problem part seemed to be dealign with a thermistor (again other user experiences not mine).

So I am looking for any assistance I might get, hopefully some of you here have come across this amp before and maybe have some experience.

I have been unable to locate a service manual for this amp which would have helped greatly... I do not have much electronics experience, just real basic stuff, but I love to tinker and learn so that is why I tinker with stuff on the side.

Any assistance would be appreciated. I have upped a video here so others can possibly look at this amp with me and possibly provide some assistance

worst case I just pull the main driver on the unit and add it to the list of projects I would like to do (make a folded horn subwoofer)

How an incandescent light and a ESR meter ** friend**have a machine blowing fuses
      by sam_sam_sam
About a month ago we had a transformer jumper wire that burned in two different places between two transformers caused over $200 thousand dollars worth of damage to VFD drives at least 10 of them and a memory card and quite a few power supply as well

Now we have most of the equipment that got damaged back up and running except a feeder that has issues and we are waiting for some parts for

Now we also have another piece of equipment that was blowing fuses on the 110 volt controller switch circuit with the ā€œEā€ stops and one switching power (24 volt) supply and a transformer...

HH Scott Model A510 Stereo Integrated Amplifier/ Graphic EQ - Blowing fuses in the LEFT speaker channel only. Any Help???
      by Sik_6ty_Sixx
So like the title says, I have an old Stereo Receiver/Amplifier that I picked up from the goodwill, it's a HH Scott Model A510. When I first got it home it had zero output. Opened it up, notice the fuses are missing. Pop in 2 new fuses (AGC4A 250V) and try again, within 5 seconds the L channel fuse POP! I don't see any visible indications of damage or arc burns on the PCB, no popped resistors or diodes, no burnt traces or blown out caps. So I decide to just try another new fuse, POP. Swapped around my R and L speaker wires, and checked the integrity of all wires and connections. Everything looks...

1970 Metal Lathe Control Circuit blowing fuses on the 120 volt section failing meager test below 60 mega ohms
      by sam_sam_sam
I was working on this machine yesterday and I now going to use an incandescent lights instead of a fuses to figure out what the issue is with it blowing control voltage rail but this not the only issue the coolant pump failed the meager test as well as the main motor as well this motor has 12 motor wire leads instead of the normal 9 wires

This metal lathe has a weird motor setup it has a soft start motor with a ā€œYā€ and a delta type of motor winding setup and it is not done in the motor pucker head enclosure it is with four different contactors wired in a configuration I have not...

Gemsound PAX-105 Audio Amp blowing fuses
      by mon2
Hi. New to this side of the forum.

Have an audio amp (Gemsound PXA-105) that keeps blowing the 3A fuses upon power up. Owner stated that the amp was on when he plugged in the input (mixer board) and that started this chaos.

Would a schematic be available? Advice on what to check? Power supply / output amp transistors? Do see the power on green led turn on for a brief moment before the fuse blows.

      Thanks.
