I have this technics audio video receiver. I was at the thrift store looking for another receiver as my wife had chucked my previous one(the klh r5100 on other post). I only paid 6.00 for it as it was broken. When i plugged it in at the goodwill it would play any sound. When i came home i tried again. Then once i started pressing the other aux audio buttons it started working again. I've had it for a week and still no problems. Should i be worried it will break again or would it be ok. I listen to it just about everyday.

I have an Onkyo TX-SR353 Audio/Video Receiver (5.1 ch with HDMI) that I am having a really hard time diagnosing and I'm about to throw this in the junk and go buy a new unit that is on sale until the 7th.
Symptoms:- Intermittent (part of the reason why i'm having a hard time isolating problem), sometimes will work for 10+h at a time without issue
- Original symptom was wife reported loud banging noise (like someone was banging on the wall with their fists) from the LEFT SURROUND speaker and then the unit shut off.
- I swapped the Left and Right surround

hi i have a receiver that is destroyed from the overvoltage i guess
my question is has three wires u v w for driving a motor fan i found an other receiver wireless from aliexpresss with the same propertiew but for dc motor
the motor fan has not label
i have an other receiver operational
In your opinion can i measure the voltage at the output ?
what do you suggest me with a simple instrument multimeter or using someone instrument more specific ?

For this Dick Smith TV GE6878 (Thompson) I replaced the broken remote with a universal it kinda works though if its more than a few meters away sometimes the buttons register and sometimes they wont so I bought another remote from another brand and it has the same problem, I've had an old TV in the past that the sensor died completely and I replaced it to fix it could this be a similar problem? I tried looking for a service manual, spare parts for a receiver and a parts list but I couldnt find any info. can someone please help me to find the info online for a service manual or where I can buy... -

I'm having trouble with my Yamaha RX-V485 receiver. After encountering a "version error", the USB, Bluetooth, and network functions have stopped working, making it impossible to perform a firmware update through normal methods.
After doing some research on forums, I found that earlier Yamaha models with similar issues (like the internal error message) could be fixed by shorting or soldering specific pads—such as R896—and then powering on the unit to enter a service/boot mode that displays the model info and allows recovery.

I've got a new issue with a Denon Avr-2700H.
After several minutes working, receiver stops playing sound with a poc eared in the speakers.
Receiver still work and display video with error message on display.
Seems to me that is the main output relay.
I'm looking for the service manual that I can't find for the moment.
Does somebody have it?
