LG F1480YD5 PF error code - powers off after 5 minutes of use

    Hi,

I'm getting a PF (power failure) error code when doing a tumble dry or wash cycle after around 5 minutes of either (the whole machine powers off).

The machine is 12 years old.

After some Googling it sounds like I need to replace the PCB but I can't see anything on my machine that looks like a PCB on similar models that I've seen on YouTube, I was expecting to see a large rectangular circuit board.

Where should I be looking and any ideas on if it could be a different faulty part?

    Thanks!

Where you see the control knob and the digital display look at that section and see what it takes to remove it from the machine
See if the front of the machine can be removed from the machine but be careful with the wiring and the tubing in this section and do not be tempted to just rip thing apart this is how parts get damaged and broken

Also if it has wiring plugs and if there are several plugs make sure that you take pictures of and if any of them are exactly the same then make sure that you take picture of each one and make sure that you mark them somehow to make sure that the plugs stay with the plug that should be connected there is nothing worse than plugging it in the wrong place bad thing can happen because of not taking the time to marking where things go

Janome DC3050 Sewing Machine Pedal Resistance
      by CG2
OK, this is a long shot. I got this sewing machine cheap because it's end of line, ex-display, and had no pedal. The genuine pedal costs £60, while Ebay knock-offs go for around £15. So I went for the knock-off, it doesn't work, and I'm not sure whether it's the pedal or the sewing machine that has the problem.

Now this is an electronic machine, unlike the old fashioned sort where the pedal was a big resistor in series with the power to the motor. Here, the pedal is just (I think) a variable resistor fed with a 5 volt supply, and limited to a current of 5 milliamps. Assuming that...

      MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 (MS-7D25) - stuck during boot every second time - debug code 16 & A1
      by DynaxSC
      Hi Folks

I have an MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 (MS-7525) which underwent LGA1700 replacement and had a missing resistor in the VRM section. The missing resistor RV170 (49,9Ω) has been resoldered, and I have also replaced a demaged LGA1700 socket.

Generally the board does boot to Windows, but not always in the first attempt, but after the second attemp to boot the board with Power Button. Also restarting the board from Windows ends up with stuck boot process, but restarting the board again (long push Power Button or switching off and on PSU). Under Windows etherything works

How to stabilize AC voltage to CNC machine
      by unimatrix93
Hello there everybody, I'm not sure if it's the right topic to ask this but I hope so.

I have a CNC machine wired to 3-phase 230V AC.

It's a smaller CNC machine with a 3500W motor, do it does not uses much power.

The problem is, when the residents come home and put load on the network, the voltage can drop to around 207V which is fine for most household items but by CNC machine stops working from this.

I contacted the electricity company but they refuse to help me solve this problem.

So I started to look around for some DIY...
