Ryobi 20 volt 4 amp hour battery pack failure not charging no power output

I have this type of failure before but not like this

I was using this battery pack and had run down until it only shows one led lights

Which is suppose mean that it 25% or less

I have done this a few times before and the battery would charge back up but not
this one there is one light on but it will not charge

So I check each bank of cells and got about 3.67 on each bank the batteries are down on charge but not that low

When this has happened before it would not charge but you would have power for a short time when you would push the battery test button and go off

But this one failed weird no output will not charge but you have the battery light on

It has two mosfets which when I have had them not wanting to charge and have low amp output replacing them it would start working correctly again

This time I am not sure if this is the same type of failure or not

Running a battery load testing on each battery bank and see how good these battery are at this point

Then I will decide weather or not to try to repair this battery pack

A new battery pack is about $50.00 each when you can find the twin battery pack deal

This is true for the most part you have to pay attention to the changer when you first place a battery on it to charge to make sure that it is charging

Here are the results of bank one of this battery pack
1837.5 amp hour for each cell in this bank ( 2 ) cells a loss off at 4.5% of a new cell
I have gotten 1960 to 2020 on these type of cells before ( not separating battery bank to run test )

I still have four more banks to test

I run the test as follows
        Discharge
        Recharge
        Discharge
        Recharge
        Discharge final results

        Test setup
2.50 volts cutoff for first discharge to see where discharge roll of voltage starts about 3.40 to 3.50 is a little higher than normal results I have seen as low as 3.1 to 3.3 volts

        Charge to 4.20
        Discharge to 3.00 volts
        Charge to 4.20 volts
        Discharge to 3.00 volts

Ryobi 36V (aka 40V) 6Ah Faulty Battery Pack
            by brispuss
Purchased a Ryobi 36V 6Ah battery pack maybe just over a year ago.

Battery pack had been used on about 3 or 4 occasions for powering a cordless lawnmower. I was wanting to use this battery pack again recently, but on checking the battery charge state via the battery pack test button, there was no LED indication at all of charge state which suggested the pack was fully discharged.

I found this to be odd as I usually fully recharge battery packs shortly after use. So either the pack developed some sort of fault which completely discharged the pack cells (after recharging),...

Milwaukee M18 HD12.0 (12 amp hour battery pack) unbalanced failure charger refusing
            by sam_sam_sam
I have two Milwaukee 12 amp hours battery packs that have an issue with battery cells very unbalanced these are probably over 4 years old and been heavily used in the past but now get occasionally used heavily and when I went to use the grinder tool the battery lost battery battery power very quickly so I decided to open it up and found some battery cells voltage from 3.6 to 4.1 no wonder the battery charger was not fully charging them 3 out of 4 LEDs were on meaning that it was only 75% charged

So I have put them on the battery testing machine to drain each battery cell down to...

How can I charge that battery pack?
            by razenxd
            Hello,
it's not a laptop/desktop related question but I figured that someone here will have the right knowledge.
At work we use a few Aldebaran(now Softbank/United Robotics group) Nao Robots which they use some custom 6S li-on battery packs.
Nao robots tends to draw from the battery even if they are shut down, and the BMS tends to be a little aggresive, if the pack stays on a turned off robot for 3 months it's gonna lock and will refuse to charge.

Now, I have noticed a few things.
The "dead" battery, while connected to charger and NOT Charging will...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
            by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Brother “P-Touch” PT-2040SC modified with metal hydrate AAA 700 milliampere hour battery pack originally for cell phone
            by sam_sam_sam
I have gotten so tired of battery cells leaking and it happen to this device and it is not very old I had bought these battery packs from The Electronic Goldmine for $1.00 a pack when they had a sale and I am putting 3 packs to good use so I do have to deal with leaking battery cells I am over it

I bought the label maker at Sam Club a while back for $29.99 it come with 4 cartridges and they had them on sale again for $29.99 again so I bought another one because I was not sure if I was going to able to get it to work on the battery cells that I had planned on using for this particular...
