RS dont sell them ..farnells website is not working ..
anyone have any spare ? or know where i can get one or dont mind buying 10 of them as only about 38 pence each . one of the kids here wants his x box back .

farnell/cpc broke there website a while back while fucking around with non-compliant bullshit.
now it only works on some browsers.

they do have that part though.

farnell website is broken ..i did manage to get to checkout then it kept saying wrong card details . so i gave up ..will ring them monday and open a business account as they want money to ship that costs same as 10 of the bloody things . thats on top of same again for cutting them off a reel .
was hoping someone here had a stock of them that i could buy from .

card number must be a single string with no spaces or dashes etc.

yes i tried that first time ..second time ..4 times 4 digits and it put it into single string for me .. website wont even load now . keeps timing out .

just managed to place an order using chrome . no idea why slimjet wont work ..maybe its the way i set it up and made it too secure .
had to buy a reel of solder though . and now its cost me 35 quid for £3.78 worth of parts .. of course i will have a nice new reel of 0.5mm solder to sit next to the new reel of 0.7mm solder i bought from RS . they wanted more for shipping than price of parts . now at least its free . cost me enough though .. i am too used to RS and free shipping .

well cpc just bumped the minimum for free delivery from £5 to £8 so be warned.

well they turned up today .all ten of them on a reel .this is after paying them to take them off a reel . and the reel of solder . they came in a large box . makes my mind boggle it does .
i soon got one soldered into the xbox and it works . well at least it made the right noises and i got a pic on my tv . phoned they young lad up to take it away to test it and he was here in super-fast time ..not heard back so can only assume i will be getting paid soon . didn't do too badly as only 2 screws left over .
