Motherboard component ID and can it be repaired?

Hey all - I have an mITX board that I moved from one case to another. I was showing my son how to work on PCs (maybe mITX wasn't the best) and so he was getting a guided install of putting the board in. It booted after we swapped cases, but it was failed to POST with a CPU light on after a few times. I removed the board and noticed that this component was bumped and the legs were (possibly) touching. I went to push it back gently and it looks like the legs came off on some but also a pad might have lifted? Anyway - going to reach out for warranty/repair, but in case they tell me its dead I thought it might be fixible so wanted to find out more about it.

Can anyone help ID what the component is and or where to get a replacement? I can't tell if that pad is gone or not and if so, could it be salvaged in some way? I already bought another identical board so once customer support replies this will be a matter of learning (or is there someone on here who can fix it?).

    Thanks all!
