Help me identify this component Kingston SNV2S 500Gb NVME drive

The drive is dead. I was able to identify the culprit and it's this chip marked "CHN 031". I am unable to find it.

Can someone tell me what this chip is? Thanks.

How many pins does it have. Can you measure it

The chip appears to have 12 pins: 4+2+4+2

I am assuming it's QFN-12

You can bypass this IC by connecting Vin to Vout. Just be sure that there aren't any shorts downstream. Also, make sure that the input voltage is correct.

I didn't get a chance to swap out the chips. The customer took the drive with him and that's that. It would've been interesting to see if the drive could be saved.
