Good afternoon everyone,
I bought a joblot composed of 4 Thinkpad L380, 2 are 100% working the other 2 have corrupted bios.
I've dumped their respective BIOSES before attempting anything. On this thread I'll focus on laptop #1(will open another thread for #2).
What I did :
1)ME cleaned the bios + replacing the BIOS_REGION with the latest one, I extracted it from one of the working computers. Now the computer is powering on, but asked a supervisor password.
2) Use the lenovo patcher available on this forum to get rid of the password. It worked.
Now I'm facing a problem the nvme drive is not showing up in the boot menu, but a SATA one does appear.I tried updating to the latest Bios version using a usb drive .No changes.
I do assume it is a problem with flexIO configuration.(See this topic for a T490,https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-t-detect-nvme).
To be honnest apart from doing a clean ME, I don't know how to use UEFI tool to solve this problem.)
I've attached the original bricked dump and the one with the last update applied.Could you help me out with this ?
Thank you for your time,
Have a nice day😁
