For replacements, should I transition from Chemi-Con KMG and KMH to KMQ?

Currently, I use and recommend Chemi-Con KMG (radial) and KMH (snap-in) as replacements for less-known brands for the 400/450V unit(s), along with Chemi-Con KY (and KZM if I can get them) for the low-ESR units on a power supply.
I noticed that Chemi-Con KMQ (both radial lead and snap-in) is one of the general purpose series recommended for new applications, along with my favourite series of low-ESR series, Chemi-Con KY (and KZM if I can get them).

Should I transition from KMG and KMH series to KMQ series units?

For a chart with recommended series for new applications (indicated), see http://www.chemi-con.co.jp/e/catalog...m_diagram.html
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

I'd be inclined to allow price and availability to dictate your choice. The KY series may be going obsolete soon, if it isn't already. Maybe look at the KZE series if it's available.

Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.

      lead spacing is around 3mm

there is space for 16mm tall caps

rs components is good place for me to go since its close by, what replacements do you suggest and do these need to be low esr?

Xbox 360 Xenon Modern Capacitor Replacements
      by burom
I found my old Xbox 360 in storage and opened it up to see if there was anything that broke since it was built in 2006 (launch era Xenon revision, never red ringed, never been serviced) and didn't want to find out by releasing magic smoke. Upon moving the dust bunnies out of the way I was greeted by a bunch of capacitors with crud coming out of the top; it doesn't seem to have leaked onto the board so at least I have that going for me.

I'm posting here because I want to try to source replacement caps myself from Mouser or Digikey instead of braving eBay or waiting for places to have...

Help me decide which MOSFETs are suitable replacements
      by прямо
      Friends,

I need help. I'm having a bit of difficulty in deciding what would be the compatible replacement for these MagnaChip N-Channel Trench MOSFETs on a VRM circuit because they seem to have a much faster switching times compared to most N-Channel Trench MOSFETs out there that have the same (more or less) current rating and Rds(on)

      MDD1502 (high side), 48.5A 7.8mOhm
      MDD1501 (low side, 2 in parallel), 67A 5.6mOhm

VGS is 10V High side drain is 12V. Low side drain is from PWM controller (Richtek RT8120A) phase output 1V.

      Here are the ones...

Looking for best replacements for Capxons, but can't find data sheets
      by withalligators
Recapping the power supply board for a Samsung 305T monitor, everything is Capxon except 2 Rubycons. I can't find data sheets matching these online, so don't know what ripple numbers, impedence, etc, to look for. There are a few different looking GL series data sheet PDFs, but the listing that matches the capacitance and voltage is a much bigger case size. I've narrowed down selections with lead spacing and case diameter, and what's in stock at Digi-key

1 x Capxon 1000uf35v GL C720(is this a part number or batch number, can't find it anywhere) 105c
