    Oscilloscope stop working

    Hello everybody,

After many years I tried to start building electronic circuits again. I dust off my old scope and after a few minutes of perfect work it broke. I lost horizontal sweeping on both channels.
This is a goldstar 100Mhz model OS-8100. If somebody can pinpoint to what to look for that'd be great, but any generic assistance would also help me because I am completely clueless about how to start.

I have good intensity on both channels, and the vertical position knobs are doing their job without a problem.

    Thank you very much,
    Andres

I have to add that I took the Horizontal Output Amp out and tested all transistors on it. They were good, nothing looks ugly and nothing looks burnt. Maybe is the previous module (the one that gives the sweep signal to the amplifier)?
    Schematics would be perfect ...sigh..
