Even when used on non-switching power supplies, I don't think they are good.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

      they're pure junk.
the only caps worth buying on conrad are the Panasonics (FC series) and maybe the Yageo's (a.k.a. Teapo's)

looks pretty bad otherwise. Reichelt.de sells Panasonic FC too, but in odd values/sizes.
other than those 2 i haven't found any local shops that sell good brand caps.. all you can get elsewhere is just random noname junk (they sell whatever is the cheapest at the moment)

are they? I mean, deos anyone have experience with these?
their documentation, looks much better than most crap brands' (for instance, look at )
and they have a European HQ in DE.
deosn't necessarily ean anything quality-wise, but they're not going the cheapest way.

i bought a couple of those (i was curious)..
flat circular bung, crude looking vent, poor printing on the sleeve.
first thing i thought of when i saw them IRL for the first time was "GSC or Lelon" (visual impression)

i could send a handful of them over to someone (preferably in euroland) with an ESR meter to check them..
i didn't bother using them for anything.. don't want stuff to come back again after a couple months or so..

no problem, I'll have a look at them next time I'm at the big C (they have a megastore here).
yeah, their logo looks.. er... cheap.
but Samxons don't look too trustworthy either. looks can be deceiving.

Nichicons, UCCs and Panasonics might cost a little bit more in the long run, but if it's a small job, just use some japcaps. Don't bother with some of the other bs on the market. They might not be bad, but no point in experimenting with them...
