Found this 2~24 Series Lithium Battery Equalizer device,is it worth the money or not

    Dose anyone know where I can find some good quality alligator clips for my test leads that are medium size not the very small or the very large ones I used to get them from Radio Shack back when they were around

    I found some at MPJA but they are little too small for what I am looking for Home Depot and Lowe’s have some but they are either too small or too big

    I forgot where I had bought some that are the right size but the quality of them are crap because they bend right near the stiff wire to keep them closed

    If can find some of the size that I am looking for I posted the picture of them

        Yes I know I have tried them before and not only that the wire that used is also looking like it is poor quality as well

        But the question is where can I find some good quality ones that I do not have pay an arm and a leg for them

          This sort of stuff comes from Aliexpress, what size jaw opening do you want and what's the maximum current they need to handle ?

            Update on the 2.00 pitch connectors

            I used some connectors of a incomplete BMS protection board that I could not reuse so I reusing some of the components of the board for the same purpose but in a different configuration


            Using these two connectors I loose numbers 12 and 13 when using these connectors not bad I could put a wire in the empty connector and then I would have all of meter connection which I might do later if needed for a battery pack but right now I can except the fact I loose two meter readings

              I ended up putting a two pin connector on the bottom of the and removed one of the wires so I would not short circuit the battery cell by accident

                I just finished putting new wires in the one of the two connector ( in post #25 is a picture of the board that I am taking about ) that was for the BMS protection board of a 36 volt battery pack that I modified the battery pack that I wrote up a post a few months ago I will be taking this battery pack apart again to add this meter module for multi battery cells so when I put the battery pack on charge I can see what all battery cell rails are doing in real time

                Now I have to remember where I put the other two female connectors that I have so I can make up the other side male connector

                This project is a work in progress and as I have time to devote to it I still have to make up cables for other battery cell configuration which is going to take some time to complete

                I have both versions of these connectors to do for both boards the 2.00 mm and the 2.00 mm pitch connectors

                  Well I found the container that had the BMS board in it and I also found the container that that had the female connector ( unfortunately there is one connector that has not been found yet) in it so I was able to complete the individual battery cell connector so now I have to put the battery holders on a cutting board so they will stay in place it is also going to be used as testing jig for selecting and matching battery cells together while they are changing and discharging cycle curves

                  In the picture you can see that the connector on the right side has a white wire and a yellow wire on the other end of the connector these two wires are not being used when testing individual battery cells

                  The white wire is to let me know not use it in individual battery cells function and the same thing with the yellow wire

                  Now when testing a 24 battery cell function then I would use all 25 wires instead of 23 wires in the single battery cell battery testing mode

                    An update on the types of battery cell-s voltage monitoring devices there is a version that has both 2.00 and 2.54 pitch connectors on the same board

                    Here is the seller that I bought two of them from

                    The reason I bought the other version was that I going to remove the 2.00mm and the 2.54mm pitch connectors from the transfer board and put it on this board but modify the connector so that I have one continuous connector

                    I going to use the transfer board as jig boards so I can easily make and remove connections

                    As shown in an earlier post where I mentioned that I put the battery cell monitoring module on a stand I am going to do the same thing with this power supply but I going to have the meter module ii a different location so that it is easier to read and will probably mounted on a cutting board so that the power supply and the battery cell monitoring modules are kept together and easier to use and kept organized

                    I found a external meter module enclosure that this power supply meter module fits I just have to extend the three wires for the meter function and the two other wires for the power to the meter module

                    One note about the power supply meter module has been modified so that it functions correctly for this power supply and I did not want try to figure out exactly what changed in order for it to work correctly for this power supply if this meter module goes bad I have some meter modules that are the same basic design as the original meter module that is used in this power supply
