i use 360 for unleaded solder.
even that can struggle with some laptops that seem to have solder with no copper in it! -

I cover adjacent areas with kapton, get a chip popper on the chip and blast it at 400C until the chip goes airborne. But that's for items I'm going to replace, it might be too hot for something that will be put back.Comment
