Hakko 950 SMT hot tweezers but no base or stand

I got gifted a Hakko 950 SMT hot tweezers but no base or stand.
    Any suggestions for building one?

"The 950 is compatible with the Hakko 936, 937, 939, 703, 926, 927 and 928 soldering stations." Apparently it has two heaters in parallel "24V 50W", one RTD temperature sensor 43-58Ω at room temp. 5-pin DIN.
I don't have any of those, have a 470-2 (no RTD in) and a FX-888A.

there are dozens of soldering iron controller projects on github,
the sensor makes it a bit more of a challenge but it may be similar to a weller iron

You can buy that stand separately. The Weller tweezers holder is fully metal.

It seems the difference between the older Hakko 936, 937 and the newer FX-888 is just 2VAC (about 20% more power). 950 rated 50W 24V, 8804 rated 65W 26V.
Electrical specs are identical between 950/FX-8804 tweezers as far as pinout and heater/sensor resistances. Pins 4-5 heater, pins 1-2 RTD temp sensor, pin 3 tip GND. Same 6-pin connector, 5 used for the tweezers.
Two heaters in parallel for 2.5-4.5Ω at room temp. One RTD temperature sensor 43-58Ω at room temp.

You know what? I just plugged it in - the 950 tweezers into the FX-888 base... and it works fine

Now I have to find a stand for the tweezers, not sure if the housing is the same. C1313 (950 base) long discontinued.

Sweet! I’ve got the Weller and the tweezers. Comes in handy for quick SMD work.

Surface Book 2 Performance Base dead
            by astroboypaul
I'm working on a Surface Book 2 performance base (M1032224-004 on white sticker) and would love for some help troubleshooting or where to look next.

The tablet when not connected to the base seems to work fine, but:
            • When tablet is off and connected to the base, it won't turn on.
            • Connecting tablet that is already on to base there is a windows device detected tone (not sure what device), but tablet remains in tablet mode, keyboard/trackpad don't work, and windows continues to report only 1 battery.
            • Charger white light turns on when connected to the base, but base battery and tablet
