    Sharp LC-65N7004U LED type

I got this 65" which apparently is rare as there are very few LED strips on sale, all overpriced. This one for example, also take a look at pictures:
    https://www.tvparts.ca/tvdetail.php?id=15179

I need advice on LED type.
The original one has size of 3030 or 2828.
I tried 2835 and it's just too bright and also creates bright spot, probably not matching the lens.
    I measured voltage drop, it's 3.3V

I will keep trying other LEDs, but I am looking for advice from someone who has practical experience with this type or similar.

there are no use of words OR to use at TV LEDs so what are the actual size .. can you show here the the defect one from both side, or the label of the strings.

yours measurement 3.3V it sound to me the LEDs are from invotech which they are 4.7V.

Diah, do you have more info about these invotech LEDs? Can these be purchased? Any substitutes?

At what current did you drive the LED at to get the Vf of 3.3V?
Vf of LED will vary with drive current. Your LED is probably single LED.
Here is example of LG INNOTEK dual LED, Vf of 6.3V is typical for DUAL at full current..

The typical single LED is about 3 ~ 3.6V Vf

yes his LED are single... but i think there are error at his measurements.. this why...

we need first to know exactly yours size ( TYPE ) measurements and the LED chassis ( downside figure )( the downside figure are a key to know more detail of the LED unit ), this why i asked you to show us !!!

invotech LEDs are available at aliexpress but only few sellers certificated of original parts, the others are duplicated.

            Re: Sharp LC-65N7004U LED type

Thank you both, here is some update.
Original LED was destroyed during removal.
            The current is 310mA
I also found similar LED I believe from Vizio D50F-E1.
It works well, but the voltage accross it is 3.6V.
The key feature is very small yellow dot which is probably needed for this type of lens.
I looked through Innotek catalog and they don't have this type.
            The thick terminal is negative.
I attached pictures without LED and with Vizio LED.

                  I got some pictures.
                  The size is 3030
Could be used in Hisense as well as they own the Sharp brand
I looked at Aliexpress, there are similar types from AOT and EMC, but I still see some differences.
If original type can't be found, I'd like to know proven replacement that works.

Just my opinion, as I have replaced many 3030 3v's... The yellow section in your photos doesn't extend to "almost" the edge of the smd device, so I would expect if you use the cheap imported 3030 3v's, you will probably experience "halo circles. The cheap ones from Asia have the yellow section extend almost to the edges, causing the halo circles. I will be following this thread, as I too am looking for 3030 sized cool white led's for replacement. I have seen it posted that the "color range" is around 7000 for most tv's, but would like some more input on this. I don't mind spending more for decent led's. Strips are so expensive on some models, and the led's aren't hard to replace, but a bit time consuming. (I do mark the lens position and the led position before removing to be sure replacements are settled correctly).

Yes, that's true, I tried it.
As I've mentioned, Vizio LED worked for me fine except voltage drop was 3.6V instead of 3V.

BTW, I have no problem with lens alignment, I just need correct LED.

My buddies tv of this model is turning off after flashing the sharp image for a second. Is that what this tv was doing? What were the symptoms to determine that it was a problem with the leds?

                            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...
