We are trying to fix our Philips TV

We have taken out one of the boards inside. Board# (X) PLTVEL241XAN6.

As in one of the pictures there seem to be two burned resistors (?) (or whatever they are called) - a blue one and pink one.

Anyone know how to fix this? Can we replace them? - if so where can we buy the parts, and how do we identify the parts?

Do we need to buy a new board?

Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

The part that you have marked I would check for shorts in and round that area and the mosfet

If you do not know how to check a mosfet google how to test one

You do have to have a volt meter

You likely need to replace Q9101, C9126, R9101 and U9101. But if you can't tell a resistor from a capacitor, it might be best to just replace the board.
Q9101 = TK6A65D mosfet
C9126 = 100PF/2kv capacitor
R9101 = 0.27Ω 2 watt resistor
U9101 = PF6003AS PFC driver ic
You also need to check R9113, D9104,R9109 & R9110

Looks like eBay has three available. Before you purchase, double check ALL of the labels and markings on the board vs the item you are buying and ensure it matches.

ShopJimmy.com is my usual choice if i can't repair a board... but they don't have this power supply available.
