Is this ManYue's X-CON polymer cap?

    http://www.pcpop.com/doc/0/397/397507_2.shtml

    http://img5.pcpop.com/ProductImages/.../001208114.jpg

The leftmost cap with "YF" marking on it.
The mobo manufacturer Yeston claims it being manufactured by ManYue aka SamXon. Its internal looks like polymer but is it made by ManYue?

More shots from the same brand, different caps with similar markings.

        Why not?

But the ULR series I've seen (on ATI HD4850 reference boards) doesn't look like that. It carries a "ULR" marking.

BTW, the samxon rep here (bigpope) has a little line advertising them in his signature

            (My SAMXON Capacitors Database HERE!!

X-CON is a new brand for SAMXON's Polymer Capacitors.)

From his signature. If you want to contact him, heres his profile

              Doesn't look like what?
The one in the data sheet does have a "ULR" marking.

Sorry for bumping this old thread out...
Because the one in the datasheet with a ULR marking doesn't look quite the same as the capacitor on the left in the following picture:

they don't look like motherboards Intel makes for Intel.

Re: Is this ManYue's X-CON polymer cap?

Yes, it is X-CON ULG or ULR, can't sure. However, i can surely it is X-CON polymers.

Why there is no marking "ULR" or "ULG"? The reason is these mainboard factories in mainland China custom requested Man Yue don't print "ULG" or "ULR" markings n caps and request to change the color of "red" a bit different. I don't know real comerical reasons.

However, i think that they think X-CON or "ULR" is not famous as Japanese brand. So decide ro remove the marking "ULR" on top of polymers.

The letters "YF" or others, is showing which the lot batch produced by which Man Yue branch factory in mainland China.

So these purple (and sometimes in red) polymers are also X-CONs right?

                        That's hard to say.
Too many companies making them that use the same markings.
                        .
The red ones in the second pic are Fujitsu, can just make out their logo.

Yes, the purple polymers are also X-CON from Man Yue. It is because custom made for some hardwares factory.

I know the some factories complained that the original "pink" is not stable pink grade for the same pink in the whole lot of polymers, Man Yue said pink is different to control same "pink". By this reason, Man Yue chnage the marking color in some lot of batch in te past.

I saw X-CON in pink, red, purple and blue in the past. Most of color is pink, then red....
