Hi,
I need help to unlock HP ELITEBOOK 840 G3 bios. I found 2 different bios chips: winbond 25Q128FVPQ and winbond 25Q64FVIQ . Is this bios unlockable ?

post the contents of the winbond chip 25Q128FVPQ, you need an SPI programmer ... more details can be found on the internet ..

I have CH341a programmer and RT809F, I am going to try with those ! I ll send dump as soon as I manage to read the chip !

you have an error because the program does not know the format of your file..transform your file format into
'.bin', and it will work ..

I tried the HP Unlock Tool on this BIOS dump but it did not work, the BIOS still has a password.

Could someone please unlock it for me?

Thanks for the attempt Lapfix but your file is identical to my file after it had been passed through HP Unlock Tool.

Hi everyone, I purchased an HP Elitebook 840 G3 and it is BIOS lock. I have a CH341a board in order to repogram the BIOS, but I can't seem to find the BIOS in the manufacturer site. Does anyone know where I can get this?
