    Huawei HG256

This device died suddenly, no power, etc upon opening up, no bloated caps or obvious burnt marks.... therefore would need advice where to start troubleshooting, the configuration inside was important to refer back.

    Adapter were tested, 12.3V
Tested with another Adapter, but no Go....

much appreciate for the input given.

hmm... any headstart where I should begin?
not very sure to check the components... e.g ... which pin to which?

^ what he said. Basically, on each of those 4 round inductors, check the voltage between the wire on one side and ground. See what voltages you get and post them here. There is also one transistor near one of the coils (lower right side of first picture).

Also touch stuff with your finger while the power is applied and see if anything gets hot.
