First time recap success

SUCCESS!
Just for the record, I replaced a couple of Caps in a sx270 today.
This was my first time ever trying to fix a motherboard.
I am very thankful to topcat and all the information I got from reading this forum. (and also to topcat for sending me the parts I needed when radio shack failed me!)

It was a nice feeling taking something that was headed for the dustbin and making it run again!

Not meaning to hi-jack your thread...
I re-capped my first today!!!!!!!!

F*ck*n awesome...better than the 1st pc i put together.
What made it sweeter was the machine was a GX270 dumped on the footpath outside the previous owners home.Come with a P4 2.4 800Mhz HT cpu and 3 x 128MB ram sticks.No hard drive/optical drive of course.

THANK YOU to Topcat and the Badcaps contributors.I would never have attempted such a repair without this website/forum.

Next project....a lovely Asus P4P800 Deluxe mb...
