i don't know why you posting here some things Fishy, 400mA are the real specif action of this SMT LED, why it should fail , or you just use here to drive other bought from yours shops,,

end of the subjects what i wrote here i did tested and used and passed for many years. so don't bother others and lez people go with less cost.

all my respect to TOM66 as i know he is ready to help others. but wrong info it will be worse to other reader.

you both was talking too on edge LED more difficult that this ROW one, and the real answer to me who do it always to replace all 54- or 56 LED edge are more fast and easy too. this LG ROW more difficult not because of soldering, but to sitting the lens which make reflection if it was 1 mm on side.

my point, we need to share our experiences to other and help ... not only to fill post with writing we didn't tray it before.

The "other" has a name too lol ! The info I and Bud provided is useful as it shows how badly they are pushing them little Leds, which causes them to get VERY hot and the dye bond cracks causing the diode not to make contact any more.

Isnt it sad that they know its going to fail as well. Lg are the worst as from factory the set the BL to full at all times.
