    Samsung NP350V5C BIOS Chip

    Hi i would like some help in locating the bios chip on the above motherboard.
    I was adjusting the BIOS on the laptop to boot from external device during a boot failure troubleshooting session when after shutting down the laptop the screen no longer lights up. From what i have learned this could be that the BIOS corrupted during this process. For a belt and braces job i bought a programmed BIOS chip off eBay. What i received was two bios chips one 16bit and one 32bit, i have contacted the seller but as of today i have not received any help this i believe will only be temporary, in the mean time i am searching for information partly to further my knowledge. Question: why would i receive two chips and how can i tell which to use if its a case of swapping one, and question two: are these the chips to change or which one of these is the bios chip in the attached photo

          No need to buy chips. Reflash both Main and EC OM chips with this BIOS file.
          25x16 marked chip is EC
          25x32 marked chip is Main BIOS.

              For your case UH3 is Main and UH3 is EC

                      You need an external programmer to do this and hot air gun to desolder and solder both chips.

                              Try EZP2010 which I am satisfied with, but there are many of them, just check ebay

                                      Hi. EC.bin BIOS file has a little bigger size on disk and my programmer wont let me flash. Keeps saying excess data dropped... What can I do? Main BIOS is ok!

                                              Thanks for any help. The board version is DAZAARMB6E0 REV: E. The bios chip is winbond 25Q64JVSIQ1736. W25Q64JV is not available in AsProgrammer -- only BV CV FV or FW_1.8c. The chip won't interface with asProgrammer and a CH341A. When I have this chip on the board, the laptop will not post but when I plug it in to power, the blue LED lights up, also the orange when the battery is connected. When I push the power on button, keyboard backlight turns on and the fan starts briefely then turns off. But I can't do anything to program this bios chip so I bought another one.

                                              I have an HP Elitebook 840 G5 that I am trying to get working again. I've removed the front bios chip (the 32mb one) and have run it through HP unlocker already. I've uploaded and verified the new bin, but am now experiencing an issue that has led me to believe I've been soldering the chip back to the motherboard incorrectly.
