Thank you I will try.
Can you explain what you did just for information ?
Because I tried a another bios that works but when I power off the board the power LED is still on.

Hi,
My ASUS is bricked after a bios update.
Be careful my model is TP202NAS so it's a different bios.
Serial number : J3N0GR02477711A
Here is my dump if someone could repair it.
Best regards,
Eric...

I will try to replace PR103 even if the value is 33 ohm on the board.
I think the used ac adapter I bought is faulty too...

So I remove PL102 and in diode mode red on ground and black on PL102 pad (side of the center pin) I measure 0.165 same if I measure directly on the adapter center pin so good connection from PL102 pad to center pin....

Dell XPS 9343 LA-B441P
Hi,
I would like some help on my wife's laptop Dell XPS 9343 with LA-B441P motherboard.
AC adapter is not recognized so I bought another used one and still the same !
It was of course working with the old one the bios was saying 45W adapter but now it says adapter unknown.
I don't know if the used one is also defective or it's a motherboard issue.
I have already repaired this laptop to give it to my wife (the PD102 TVS was bad).
For now what I checked :
- If i measure old adapter the center pin measure nothing...

Unbelievable I found !
XTAL YC1 near the SSD was damage ! The top was very strange and bingo.
I replaced it from another dell motherboard and the motherboard is coming.
But a strange thing the usb meter was still at 5v, I unplug battery and replug it while the power adaper was plugged and now I have 20V !
Still now picture with mu usb-c hdmi but maybe it's normal.
Thank you I will be back if I have still no picture...

CC line are ok because I can see communication with my oscilloscope as I said.
I also rotate the power adapter and it's the other CC that is 1.6V.
The both ports behave the same.
But I test I have no communication between EC and BIOS is it normal ?

Do i need to plug the battery for ISL measurementv?

Some kOhm and it goes up.
All voltages on ISL are good.
So i don't understand why this resistor is slighty burnt the only thing behind is ISL....

Dell XPS 9310 stuck at 5V
Hi,
My Dell XPS 9310 (motherboard LA-J143P) is stuck at 5V 170mA on my USB-C meter.
I checked all voltages on the 2 PD controllers and all are good.
I checked with my oscilloscope and I have a communication on CC lines.
For now the only thing I found it's :
- the EC chip is quite hot with thermal camera around 30°C
- PR208 (a 2R2 resistor) is a little burnt but still measure good. This resistor goes to intersil charger chip on DCIN
I am not an expert on PD controller and USB-C I don't know what to test next.
