A1989 - replace SSD

I have one A1989 that have not internal LCD (there was water damage on LCD connector) but macbook itself was working fine.
After some time it stoped working and starts in Recovery mode. When i try to restore in DFU it always fails with error : AMRestoreErrorDomain error 75 - Failed to handle message type StatusMsg (Missing data volume))

Is it possible to just swap SSD from some other macbook ? (or it have some dependecies ? A1989 only, some special possition from donor to correct possition on my macbook ? or i can take any SSD chips from any other macbook (with T2) and put...

ok so to me it looks like problem is with U5000 (but as i've tried to replace it and the macbook want start it looks like this U5000 is not replaceable ?)...

After some digging i found out that left fan is faulty and have faulty ic on fan cable.

i'm still trying to find why there is no light on charger....

I found that IC for temperature should be probably U5823
is it correct ? Is it most probably the cause of full fan ?

is U5000 replecable on A1398 ? i tried from differrent 15" and macbook is not turning on and fans are going to max speed but not immediately but it take some time....

I noticed one this when i put everything back to case macbook doesn't turn on as before ....

I've returned original [B]U5000 [/B](the other one i've used from donor [B]a1466 [/B]- same numbers) during replacing i probably damaged [B]X29 [/B]as now macbook turns on but fans are on full speed.
Is this connected to [B]Q6060 [/B]?

But there is still no light on charger ... I was thinking if it's not caused but not original battery but i don't think as the light is not there even if battery is not connected and it should be there.they

which compoment is the X29 sensor ?

i tried to replace U7001 but still the same .... the SYS_ONEWIRE is created by U5000 no ?...

i tried to replace U5000 and U7000 but now difference....

according to this SYS_ONEWIRE should be 3.4V but i have only 2.8V

i tried cleaning, different connector, different charger... still no light

I've checked U7000 and U7001 (diode mode readings are ok)
When power is connected U7000 and U7001:
ADAPTER_SENSE - 2.8V
SYS_ONEWIRE - 2.8V
SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC - 3.4V
SMC_BC_ACOK - 3.28V
PP3V42_G3H - 3.42V

Diode mode readings U7000 and U7001:
ADAPTER_SENSE - 0.621
SYS_ONEWIRE - 0.677
SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC - 0.586
SMC_BC_ACOK - 0.552
PP3V42_G3H - 0.324

I got macbook pro A1398 15" from my friend. He told me that he changed battery and macbook stopped charging.

Boardnumber : [B]820-3662-A[/B]

I've checked and when i connect charger it's recognized by MacOS but there is no light on charger and it's not charging battery (i've tried multiple chargers still the same behaviour), i've also tried 3 different magsafe ports.

I've check [B]U7100[/B] and replaced it multiple times (from other donor boards that i have) (i've tried probably 7 different [B]U7100[/B]) - i've also checked current resistors around this...

Yes it was working and in the time waiting for new screen i let battery connected as i tested this macbook without screen with external display. Then put to shelf.

i noticed one thing when i try different amp meter i can see

one port is 5v 0a 9999.9ohm
but on the other port there is 5v 0.02-0.03a and ohms are sometimes 185ohms and sometimes it jumps to 9999.9ohm (on ampmeter) see attached photo

does this mean anything ?...

I got two Macbook's Pro 15" A1707 both fully working except no image on internal LCD.

I've checked and it looks like it's problem with U9850 (on both pin 1 on screen connector is 0.007 or 0.050 in diode mode)

My question is if this IC can be ordered from Aliexpress (will it work) ?? or it needs to be taken directly from donor (a1707, a1990, a2141) ?

Is this IC interchangeable (on my board i have 6142E and i found that there can be also HD3SS212) are this chips same ? ? Is it possible to find this IC on some other Macbook 13" (air, pro) ?? i have...
