Well, something is f'd with this toshiba satellite a105-s4064.
When starting windows xp(media center 2005, bleh,) it just freezes at the screen just before you can log-on. Then the screen goes black. When starting in safe mode, it will BSOD with:
stop: c000021a Windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
People have said that this is a problem with a windows update. They said something about running the repair console, but I only have a windows xp disk, not a media center disk (does it matter?) and when I try to run the command they specifiy (C:/Windows/cd $ntuninstallKB number of patch$\spuninst)with the patches 893066, 890923, 8908059, 893096, but it just says the parameter is invalid.
Any ideas? And trying to boot from last known good configuration dosen't work.
