sandisk... worthless tech support/rma!

helping a friend rma some compactflash cards that went bad on her.
all my tests show they are bad.i did a data recovery on them and got most of the data off of them but it is clear they are bad with all the read errors and refusal to format.and then comes the "tech non support dept"
yes the dreaded mush mouth in india script monkey.cant understand him and all he can do is ask more dumb questions that are irrelevent.
no option to do an rma via email or web form either.
no more sandisk stuff for me and will never stock any more in my shop!

my sandisk cruzer slide sucked. first, u3 sucks. including it was a waste. i hate how it double-partitions it and makes the cd drive come first... make it worthless on my high school's computers since only one usb drive at a time.

also, it died early when the usb contacts went. i used the chip to make a cheapshit flashdrive with a blown card work again... the cheapshit had a good case but shitty card. i never got it to work again 3 monthes later. no more sandick for me (or shall i call it shitdisk?)

well i finally got the rma for the bad parts.
interesting part is a free ups tag to ship it on sandisks dime.
still does not excuse the pain in the ass to get the rma.

My original 512mb non-u3 sandisk drive is still going strong after 5 years. I don't really use it that much now, though, as I have a couple of 4 gig sticks.
