Depends on where they are. Are they singles or part of a group like VRM?

Singles - no.
Group - perhaps as long as your not going to run it that way. A simple fire it up and make sure it posts okay, should be fine.

Couldn't you put something "close" to the values scavenged from another board just to test it?

I got no small stockpile of caps I can temporarily use. all badcaps are tossed and I only order as many caps as I need when I do a recap.

No, I think the venting caps are getting to you. I work as a night stocker for Wal-Mart.
