So has anyone reflowed their PS3s with the yellow light problem yet? Not much info on this online and so I've had to guesstimate. There are a lot of bga chips on the board but I know its either of the 2 main chips. Which one is it? I do 360s for 10 minutes at 360-370 but I can tell what has failed on those because of the error codes. Anyone have any hints for the PS3?

by multimesutHello friends,
A yellow light was flashing on my monitor. It was like it was constantly cutting power. When I opened it up, I saw that the big capacitor in the high voltage line was leaking. I replaced it. When I turned it on for the first time, it had the same problem again. But then, interestingly, it got better. The yellow light was on steady. But the monitor wouldn't turn on. When I examined them with a thermal camera, I saw that the Fli5961-LF reached 50 degrees Celsius and the EM636165TS next to it reached 100 degrees Celsius and was drawing high current on the motherboard....1 Photo-

by ugamazingI'm looking to upgrade several 8GB 820-00850 boards to 16GB or 32GB for personal use. I am curious what the best practice and process is for sourcing new replacement chips, and what vendor(s) you guys prefer? Another question is, how do I find compatible chips and their corresponding part/model numbers? For example, in the 820-00850 schematic, the DDR chip U2600 model listed (EDFB232A1MA) corresponds to 1x32GB chip. Of course, I would need 4x8GB chips to replace the 4x2GB chips currently on the board. How do I find compatible 8GB chips? Is it as simple as searching "BGA178 8GB 2133"...

by sam_sam_samI have a Lithonia Lighting 65-Watt Gray Hardwired Compact Fluorescent
I also have back when Light of America had these light bulbs available for yard lights
The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail
While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure
So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last
I have only had this light fixture for not more than a year if it... -
