I disabled my onboard VIA Rhine II nic to check something and now I can't find it. Doesn't show up in windows, doesn't show up in linux. Can't find the setting for it in bios anymore. WTF?! I put in another card so I'm back up but its kind of puzzling me. Did the chip just die? Anyone seen this before? Any diag tools or firmware for via nics?
WTF my NIC is gone...

by hotglyAfter upgrading the factory 128Gb SSD to a 512Gb WD_Black SN770M, this surface pro lost touch on screen, no touch in windows or in UEFI.
The Human Interface Devices did find touch and stylus but it shows Disabled in windows device manager.
I am not sure if this is a bios problem or hardware problem, already tried reinstall and reset from windows, not working. And now trying to clean/reset the bios.
Computer model is: Surface Pro 9, i5, 8GB memory, 128GB

by spawnx212484Hello,
I have a Lenovo V15 G2 ITL with the memory onboard defective... I disabled the memory in the bios via a utility on the forum and since impossible to detect the SSD NVME in the Bios...
I've updated the Bios and EC but nothing changes... I thought of updating the ME frimware via Windows and I have a Log with the message ME Disabled...
I don't know what to do, should I do a ME clean?

by Blackwolf76Hi everyone,
I have two Dell 7420s with the WWAN port disabled, probably due to a BIOS lock.
I tried installing two different cards in both PCs, but neither of them detects it in the peripherals. I've reset the BIOS and tried everything possible, but the problem persists.
The same cards on other PCs I've tested work perfectly. Do you know if there's a way to enable it, perhaps directly from the BIOS chip I read about?
Thanks in advance for help....-

BOOT PRIORITY ORDER (img-05)
1- Windows Boot Manager
2- SATA HDD
3- NETWORK
4- Debian
